The first in the "Passage" series, this project involved placing a blank canvas on the ground in a specific urban location for a limited time. Passage, Venice was set on - Ponte dei Pugni - from dawn to dusk.
The white chalk covering the canvas, gradually worn down by the passage of the people , created a dual portrait—one of Venice’s distinctive urban texture and another of fleeting human encounters.

This canvas was placed at the entrance of Mauerpark, along the former Berlin Wall line, from 13:16 to 16.27 on April 21, 2025.
A long mark cutting across the image, made by a motorcycle that braked sharply on the canvas, has come to symbolize the speed and freedom of the movement now possible between the former East and West.
